VMS Systems Engineer
Under limited supervision, this individual contributor role is responsible for managing and assisting with deployment and operational activities of TAPFIN MSP service offerings. These activities include configuring, testing, and deploying VMS technologies, training TAPFIN operations staff on how to perform their responsibilities, and ensuring compliance to QMS. This resource also supports VMS Systems Analysts in providing Level 2 support to program team personnel to resolve client, VMS technology functionality, or process issues; or routs the issues to appropriate party for resolution. Serves as the liaison with the VMS team and technology providers during implementation. There is also a “hybrid” version of this role where the Systems Analyst is assigned programs for which they provide daily support services, in line with what the VMS Systems Analysts do. This allows the individual to have multiple aspects to their roles, retain support relationships with clients they have supported before or helped to implement, and provides TAPFIN with resource flexibility. Primary Job Functions + Participate on implementation teams, providing expertise on VMS capabilities, configuration, reporting, data requirements, etc. + Configure VMS technology to address requirements defined in Design Package and conduct demo/Configuration Validation Review. Maintain configuration workbook/templates and load production data into VMS technology + Liaison between VMS technology users and VMS providers for data management and integration support. Act as the point of contact for communication, ensuring all parties are updated as necessary. + Ensure a smooth project transition implementation to operations. Manage the transition process, train Program Managers on the VMS technology, and create job aids for each program to ensure compliance with QMS. + Develop and maintain /program team /VMS technology relationships as assigned. 5% 6. These activities include configuring, testing, validating, and deploying Beeline Enterprise environments, training TAPFIN operations staff on system usage and program processes, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards. This role supports VMS Systems Analysts by providing Level 2 functional and configuration support to program teams to resolve client, VMS technology, data, or process issues, or by routing issues to the appropriate internal or external partners for resolution. The individual serves as a primary liaison between TAPFIN, Beeline Enterprise product teams, and integration/data providers during implementations and post-go-live support. Extensive Knowledge of + participate on VMS implementation teams, providing subject-matter expertise in Beeline Enterprise VMS capabilities, configuration options, reporting, data structures, and integrations. + Hands-on configuration of Beeline Enterprise VMS to meet requirements defined in Design Packages, including: + Worker and supplier setup + Job/req configuration + Rate card and job class configuration + Approval workflows + Business rules and validations + Conduct system demonstrations and Configuration Validation Reviews (CVRs) with internal and client stakeholders + Maintain configuration workbooks, templates, and mapping documents; prepare, validate, and load production data into Beeline Enterprise, including suppliers, job classes, rate cards, users, cost centers, and other foundational data + Act as a liaison between VMS technology users and VMS providers for data management, integrations, and issue resolution, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up + Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to operations by: + Managing implementation close-out and handoff activities + Training Program Managers and operations teams on Beeline Enterprise functionality + Creating program-specific job aids and documentation in alignment with QMS requirements + Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned program teams, clients, and VMS technology partners + Maintain in-depth knowledge of QMS documentation, procedures, and controls as they relate to VMS implementation, configuration, and operational support + 5–10 years of experience in the staffing, MSP, or IT project services sector, with direct involvement in VMS-based programs + Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and implementing Beeline Enterprise VMS (configuration, testing, data loading, and go-live support required) + Experience supporting VMS data loads, configuration templates, integrations, and reporting + Strong understanding of contingent workforce programs, MSP operations, and VMS-enabled business processes + Proven ability to support multiple stakeholders across implementation and operational phases + Required Experience: + A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the staffing or IT project services sector, with customer service experience desired + Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business or related field ManpowerGroup is proud to be an equal opportunity affirmative action workplace.
