Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Visualization Specialist III to join our Visualization and Immersive Delivery team at AECOM Enterprise Capabilities in Romania.

This position is responsible for supporting and assisting with the delivery of high-end visualization and real-time digital experiences across major infrastructure and urban development projects.

This role combines; design communication, digital delivery, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with regional teams, project managers, engineers, planners, and leadership.

A flexible hybrid work arrangement is available to accommodate both office and remote work schedules and the position will be based in Bucharest, Romania.

 Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Contribute to project bids, proposals, and pursuit strategies with visualization leadershipSupport and assist with the visualization and digital storytelling strategy for major projects and pursuitsSupport client workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder presentationsImplement project-specific visualization approaches, tools, and delivery methodologiesDevelop in the career pathway of subject matter expert for visualization, real-time, and immersive technologiesDeliver high-quality stills, animations, real-time experiences, and interactive outputs across transportation, rail, aviation, urban, and mixed-use projectsEnsure outputs meet AECOM quality standards, brand guidelines, and client expectationsCollaborate with engineering discipline and BIM teams to transfer BIM/CAD data into interactive EXE, VR, and immersive environmentsSupport development of digital twins, phasing simulations, and scenario-based storytellingSupport data-driven visualization, including 4D/5D concepts where applicableCollaborate with and support visualization teams across multiple geographiesContribute to technical guidance, reviews, and capability development for other team membersImplement AI-assisted workflows and real-time renderingContribute to EC Digital standards, templates, and best-practice frameworksOnboard to internal capability building, training, and knowledge sharingTranslate complex technical information into clear, compelling visual narratives

Qualifications

 Minimum Requirements:

Experience delivering high-end visualization for large-scale infrastructure projectsExpertise in 3ds Max, V-Ray / Corona, Unreal Engine, and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience integrating BIM, CAD, and GIS data into visualization and real-time workflowsUnderstanding of transportation, rail, urban, and infrastructure design processesExperience working with global, geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrable portfolio of major infrastructure and urban visualization projectsExcellent communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Professional Qualification and Experience:

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Visualization, Digital Media, or related disciplineMinimum of 6 years of professional experience in visualization and digital deliveryInternational project experience across regions such as Middle East, UK, Europe, USA, Asia-Pacific preferred
