Visual Space Planner
Are you detail‑oriented, creative, and passionate about how products come to life in a retail environment? This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the customer shopping experience by developing clear, accurate, and visually effective merchandising plans. As a Merchandising Space Planner, you will help turn strategic direction into executable in‑store layouts, ensuring merchandising initiatives are delivered with precision and consistency across the store network. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: + Develop comprehensive merchandising plans that support major initiatives, including floor reflows and category refreshes. + Translate strategic guidance into actionable merchandising plans that are easy for partners and stores to execute. + Deliver plans accurately and on time, meeting all established deadlines. + Collaborate cross‑functionally with partners in merchandising, planning, space, and operations to ensure alignment with business objectives. + Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail. + Incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure plans meet both strategic intent and operational needs. + Use internal mapping systems (such as Pangea) to lock space and maintain accurate store maps that reflect approved merchandising strategy. Skills & QualificationsTop Skills + Space Planning + Planner / Planogram Development + Merchandising Design Additional Skills + AutoCAD experience + Ability to interpret merchandising strategy and turn it into a visual plan + Strong organizational and communication skills + Comfort working with digital planning tools and system-based workflows Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mooresville, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
