Virtual Analysis Engineer – Body Manufacturing Engineering

The Virtual Analysis Engineer (VE) role within the Product Interface (PI) organization focuses on optimizing manufacturability through advanced math-based analysis and data integration. This position ensures Body Manufacturing Requirements (MRs) compliance by leveraging automation, scripting, and cross-platform data connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

•\tDevelop and maintain NX scripts and utilities to automate compliance checks at defined math synch points.

•\tPerform manual manufacturability analysis where automated tools are unavailable.

•\tGenerate and publish issue reports; collaborate with PI, Stamping, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve gaps.

•\tCreate KPI dashboards to monitor compliance and drive process optimization.

•\tSupport manufacturing studies using simulation tools for product placement and workflow efficiency.

•\tIntegrate data sources across platforms using Azure Databricks and link insights into VE toolsets for real-time decision-making.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

•\tBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

•\tExpertise in Siemens NX scripting (VB.NET and/or Python), GUI development, and software packaging.

•\tExperience with Azure Databricks for data acquisition and integration.

•\tProficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.

•\tStrong analytical skills for complex problem-solving and process optimization.

•\tAbility to manage priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, multi-program environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
