Job Overview : + We are seeking a dynamic communications professional to join Syensqo’s global Media & Reputation team.Based in Brussels, Belgium, you will play a key role in reinforcing Syensqo’s corporate reputation, supporting global media initiatives, and implementing the company’s communication strategy. + You will work closely with colleagues across Group Communications and external partners to craft compelling stories, engage with media, and help position Syensqo as a leading, purpose-driven science company. + This role is part of Syensqo’s Media & Reputation team of 4 people reporting to the Head of Media and Reputation based in Brussels, but integrating the larger communications department counting 20 colleagues. Responsibilities include: Global media & content support on + global and regional communications plans that align with Syensqo’s global narrative and brand voice.daily media relations activities and content creation to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful corporate storytelling. + global press release distribution process — verifying, scheduling, and targeting releases to the right audiences. + media events and interviews, including crafting high-quality briefing notes for Syensqo spokespeople. Monitoring & Reporting + Conduct proactive press, online, and social media monitoring to identify opportunities and reputation risks. + Prepare regular media coverage reports and daily press reviews, both globally and for the regional markets. + Maintain accurate records of media contacts, messaging materials, and communication assets. Essential Skills : + Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. + understanding of the media landscape, content creation, and media engagement practices. + Languages: Excellent command of English (spoken and written), proficiency in an additional language, such as French, Dutch or Italian, is a plus. + Skills: + Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset. + Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment. + Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Flexibility and responsiveness, with the ability to adapt to last-minute requests and fast-changing priorities.
