Vice President Operating Strategy - Digital Channels Strategy & Transformation

As an Operating Strategy Vice President on the Chase Digital Channels Strategy & Transformation team, you will take the lead in managing fast-paced projects that are of high priority to our senior management and are at the forefront of the industry. Your responsibilities will encompass projects focused on optimizing performance, improving efficiency, and enabling scalable growth. These projects are team-based and necessitate significant collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional partners. 

Job responsibilities

Develop large-scale operational strategies for Chase Digital, serving as an objective thought partner to our senior leadersCollaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, marketing, finance etc.)Scope and structure projectsLead teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, solutions, and quantify potential impact to the businessDevelop and deliver executive communicationsBring an entrepreneurial and self-starter attitude with a bias for action as there are many uncharted opportunities to exploreMeasures the success of initiatives and helps implement strategies that support target OKRs (objectives & key results)Partners with Product, Design, Technology, Analytics, Marketing, and Finance to provide thoughtful recommendations and understand and articulate potential benefitsNavigates a highly matrixed organization, influences partners, builds consensus, and works across various functional departmentsActs as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization Constantly pushes boundaries of “what could be” to drive innovation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, product management, business management / chief of staff, startups (FinTechs), or a relevant domain areaAbility to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutionsStrong communication, presentation, and influencing skills – ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resourcesA high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadershipStrong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills with an excellent ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlinesIntellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quicklyAdvanced Microsoft PowerPoint skillsAn excellent partner who leads through strong collaborationAlways focuses on the big picture, considering impacts outside their given initiatives, while also being vigorous in managing important detailsCustomer-centric and quickly becomes familiar with the needs of end users to define solutionsFocused on driving quantifiable business results

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationExperience working in financial services or digital marketing agency
