This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and determining values of land, property, and businesses. **What You'll Do:** + Interact with clients to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives. Develop action plans as needed. Addresses clients’ needs and concerns. + Review reports completed by assessors to meet protocols. Audits content for accuracy before delivery to clients. + Provide mentorship to staff assigned to projects. + Manage portfolios such as bidding, cost management, and work orders. Assign field staff, meets project deadlines, and deliver the final product. + Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. + Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. + Assist the Operations Manager with the creation, development, and implementation of Zoning products + Provide technical zoning support and overall general consulting services to clients by providing assistance with interpretation from zoning ordinances, providing recommendations as to whether the proposed use may be economically feasible for the subject property or other specific subject matter expertise needed. + Assist the Operations Manager with the planning, organization, and controls for Zoning Reports as awarded. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Resolve, monitor, and report on staffing levels, utilization and deployment of human resources within area of responsibility. Identify key positions within area of responsibility and works with Zoning Operations Manager to develop effective succession plans. Provide mentorship and leadership to staff in areas of staffing, selection training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention of key contributors. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is preferred. Agency experience is a plus. + A general understanding of all Zoning services.. + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
