Vice President Experience Design - Operations

As an Experience Design Lead, Vice President within the Operations team, you play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences across our products and services for customers and employees. You will leverage your expertise in user experience design and the financial services industry to identify gaps, solve complex problems, and make informed recommendations for enhancing customer experiences.

Job responsibilities

Develop and execute design and research strategies for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needsLead end-to-end design initiatives, including diagramming service flows, designing wireframes, and prototyping interactionsDrive the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentoring junior designersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes for seamless, customer-centric solutionsAnalyze market trends, gather user research feedback, and leverage data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiencesContribute to the continuous improvement of products and services by providing strategic guidanceAdd to software engineering and design communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Five years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar rolesDemonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypesExperience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, with the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives and abilities into design solutionsProven ability to develop experiences that meet or exceed the initial proposal of a product or experience, including transformational innovation strategiesAdvanced technical literacy, including an advanced understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and technology stack components and their impact on user experienceExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining design solutions in a large corporate environmentOverall knowledge of the design and product development life cycle

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Design leadership or managerial experienceExperience working in complex business domains and/or large-scale enterprise environmentsAbility to translate complex user insights and behavioral data into actionable design recommendations that improve user satisfaction and business metrics
