Vice President - Digital & Platform Services Strategic Execution

Digital & Platform Services (DPS) powers the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) end‑to‑end - bringing together our Operations, Technology, Digital, Data, and AI organizations to deliver speed, resilience, and elevate experience for clients. The DPS Strategic Execution team is at the heart of designing and delivering the strategy for DPS.  

This team sits within a wider CIB Strategy organization, which operates as an internal strategy consulting group across CIB. We run project‑based engagements on topics at the top of senior management agendas, and translate ideas into decisions and execution.  You will manage high performing project teams to deliver a diverse project portfolio, with senior visibility and opportunities to shape DPS.

As a Vice President on DPS Strategic Execution in CIB Strategy, you will lead high‑visibility, fast‑paced engagements that solve complex problems and drive change across DPS. You’ll work with different parts of the organization to set strategies, redesign operating models and processes - and pivot strategy into execution, by working with stakeholders to operationalize recommendation. In this role, you will create impact at scale across a 50k+ person organization that is central to how the CIB operates.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, data, AI, technology, and operations—where innovation meets execution. 

Job Responsibilities:

Lead multiple, concurrent strategy engagements end‑to‑end - scoping, structuring, and delivering decision‑ready recommendations on DPS’s most critical priorities.Manage and develop teams of 1–3 junior strategists; set clear workplans, coach on problem solving and storylining, and ensure high‑quality outputs.Translate ambiguous problems into structured hypotheses; drive quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess current state and define target state.Design future‑state operating models, governance, and processes that enable scale, control, and client impact; identify dependencies, risks, and change implications.Plan and execute research through interviews, workshops, focus groups, and surveys; synthesize insights into concise narratives for senior audiences.Apply a practical understanding across data, AI, technology, and operations, to reimagine how DPS delivers.Build trusted‑advisor relationships with senior stakeholders; influence alignment across cross‑functional teams and accelerate decision making.Support early‑stage execution of approved recommendations.Contribute to a culture of collaboration and accountability; develop repeatable playbooks and assets that raise the bar for how DPS transforms.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

8+ years in a premier management consulting firm (including 2+ years as a Manager) or investment banking (Mergers & Acquisitions, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division (including 2+ years as Vice President); and Financial Institutions experience.An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), influence senior business leaders, work well in cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to execute strategic projects in complex, multi-functional environments; exceptionally strong management skills.Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly.Ability to foster an environment for constructive feedback and continuous development.Advanced Microsoft-Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint) skills.Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or related field.
