This role can be based out of our Boston or our New York office.
Responsibilities
Lead the firm's NA intermediary product development efforts and team to drive the development of new and modernize the existing product offerings. Oversee implementation activities, including work on product positioning and marketing in partnership with Marketing and Product Management. This includes open-end/closed mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and intermittent liquidity products.Provide strategic direction for Product Development team and adapt strategies to changing circumstances as required. Clearly communicate the strategic direction of Product Development & Strategy to the team and key partners. This includes participation in cross-organizational meetings related to commercial viability and internal governance (i.e. Product Advisory Committee, Investment Oversight Committee, Complex Securities Sub-Committee).Direct the execution of all team activities, including conducting research on the commercial landscape and competitive environment, developing and socializing product concepts, and achieving internal and external approvals.Lead projects as assigned, on time and within budget, including cross team/department projects as required.Partner with leaders in Investments, Distribution, and Marketing to define product strategy, plan the path to delivery, develop solutions, and deploy products. Contribute to, and collaborate on the Firm's Global Product RoadmapEnsure effective controls are in place to proactively manage risk and remain in compliance with company policies and procedures.Manage the budget for areas of responsibility and work to identify and solve potential challenges and opportunities.Think strategically, creatively, and drive innovation with a focus on continuous improvement.Demonstrate accountability, and focus on client needs and creating value for the shareholder.Build and develop talent, and manage performance of assigned team(s). Effectively manage and lead through change.Maximize relationships, build trust, and communicate effectively across business units, staff groups, and geographic locations.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $220,000 - $250,000 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
