THE ROLE Legends is seeking a Vice President, Private Event Sales to lead and scale private event sales across its food & beverage and venue management partnerships nationwide. This executive will oversee a broad and diverse portfolio of premier private event spaces delivered through Legends’ hospitality operations and venue relationships. This is a senior enterprise leadership role focused on building the industry’s leading private events platform, connecting world-class venues, elevated culinary experiences, and a disciplined national sales organization. The role does not carry an individual sales quota; success is driven through strategy, leadership, systems, and influence, rather than direct selling. THE OPPORTUNITY This role represents a rare opportunity to: + Build and lead the most compelling private events portfolio in live entertainment and hospitality + Shape a national enterprise account strategy serving corporate, nonprofit, agency, and premium clients + Define best-in-class standards for sales excellence, client experience, and operational integration + Architect the technology and data infrastructure that enables scalable, predictable revenue growth + Partner with senior leaders across Legends Global to elevate private events as a core growth engine ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Enterprise Strategy & Platform Leadership + Set the vision and strategy for private event sales across Legends Global + Position Legends as the market leader in premium private event experiences + Develop a scalable platform that supports both local market execution and national growth National Enterprise Account Development + Design and lead a national enterprise account structure to serve multi-market and repeat clients + Build strategic relationships with key corporate, nonprofit, and agency partners + Enable cross-venue selling and portfolio-wide client solutions Organizational Leadership & Talent Development + Lead a large, distributed sales organization through Directors and Regional Leaders + Build a strong leadership bench, succession plans, and consistent performance expectations + Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration Operating Model, Governance & Performance + Establish clear decision rights, pricing authority, and approval frameworks + Standardize KPIs, forecasting cadence, and performance management across venues + Ensure strong alignment between sales, operations, and food & beverage partners Enterprise Technology, Data & Revenue Enablement + Lead the development and adoption of enterprise sales technology platforms supporting private events + Partner with internal technology, analytics, and finance teams to improve pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and account intelligence + Drive consistent CRM usage, data hygiene, and reporting across all venues + Leverage technology to enable national account management, client segmentation, and cross-portfolio insights Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership + Serve as the senior private events leader within Legends Global + Partner closely with executive leadership, venue General Managers, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Food & Beverage + Navigate complex, matrixed environments with high emotional intelligence and credibility Innovation & Portfolio Development + Champion innovation in private event programming, packaging, and space utilization + Partner with venue development and operations teams to influence the design of future private event spaces + Continuously raise the bar on client experience and venue differentiation What Success Looks Like + Legends is recognized as the industry leader in private events + A scalable national enterprise account program is established and growing + Strong, consistent performance across a diverse national venue portfolio + Enterprise technology platforms are fully adopted and supporting data-driven decision-making + High engagement, retention, and development of top sales leadership talent + Trusted partnership with executive leadership and venue operators QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Required Capabilities + Proven enterprise leadership experience in a multi-site, service-driven business + Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to influence without direct authority + Strong executive presence and experience managing upward to senior leadership + Demonstrated success building platforms, operating models, and teams at scale + Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on sustainable growth + Experience leading or partnering on enterprise sales technology and CRM initiatives Experience & Background + Senior leadership experience overseeing a large, distributed commercial organization + Experience working in matrixed or partnership-based environments + Backgrounds may include hospitality, venues, live entertainment, managed services, or complex B2B services + Experience building national or enterprise account structures strongly preferred Leadership Style & Values + Calm, steady, and thoughtful under pressure + Collaborative, inclusive, and decisive + Data-driven with strong judgment + Committed to excellence, integrity, and team development COMPENSATION The estimated annual base salary for this remote role is up to $200,000.00 w/ bonus potential. Actual compensation is based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
