Job Description:

The VP, Infrastructure, Network and Data Center is primarily responsible for providing enterprise leadership through business leadership committees, shaping the future of the business by enabling best in class solutions

Depth and Scope

Engineer and deploy scalable solutions for both global networks and data centersIdentify, research, evaluate and implement emerging network technologiesAbility to drive a hyperconverged and virtualized/cloud strategyLead the team that maintains and manages the global networkFamiliarity with scripting language (python, go), common configuration management tools and API based automation is a plusEnd to end accountability for physical data center facilities including capacity planning, resiliency design, power, cooling, space, connectivity and lifecycle mgmtOperational risk & regulatory compliance ensuring data centers meet GSIB standards for availability, disaster recovery, cyber/physical security and global regulatory requirementsStrategic optimization & modernization – drive cost efficiency and migration planning where appropriate aligned with business and tech strategyLead the team responsible for configuration, installation and maintenance, in-depth troubleshooting tasks and documentation of any new network issuesWork with Network Planning teams to implement new solutionsCollaborate with our IT Vendor Management and Global Procurement teams on vendor relationships and key contract requirementsManage vendor relationships and key milestones for Infrastructure on-time deliveryDrive metric driven quarterly business vendor reviewReport on key metrics for Infrastructure products: Service delivery performance, Vendor performance, Financial performance to budgetMaximizes network efficiency by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages, managing upgrade schedules and collaborating with vendorsEscalation of problems as appropriate to senior managementAbility to analyze and design network systems to achieve efficient and secure operationExcellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysisExperience working in large enterprise networks desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to these rolesThorough understanding of IP concepts including routing, VLAN's QoS, tuning and capacity management conceptsCollaborate across cross-functional teams to synchronize deployment and project acceptance schedules

Skills, Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required; Post graduate degree or advanced courses in business management or technology related field or equivalent business experience strongly preferred10+ years of related experienceExperience leading Network servicesInfrastructure leadership experience in one or more functionsExperience in building a new teams and new functions, and applying an organization change management disciplineExperience reporting to and communicating with executive stakeholders (e.g. VP, SVP, EVP level executives)Proven ability to collaborate across a large organization to effectively realize outcomesExperience leading transformational changeExperience managing regulatory / compliance requirementsHistory of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long termProven ability to leverage deep subject matter expertise to develop and deploy a vision and align others to that visionKnown for providing creative thought leadership while also listening and engaging others to provide input in the shaping of that visionPassionate to succeed and acts as an internal advocate; remains resilient under pressure
