Job Description SummaryAs a Verification & Validation Manager, you will be involved in activities contributing to the design, development, and verification of medical PET/CT products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services. Responsible for design and construction of test facilities, instrumentation systems and the development of test softwareA job at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.Responsible for 2 technical teams lead up to 15-20 team members.Responsible for reviewing, planning, reporting and implementing verification methodologies and ensuring proper fulfillment of system and sub-system requirements.Responsible for reviewing various product designs, verifying its functionality in agile testing methods.Responsible to determine the testing environments and tools.Responsible for proper analyze and debug system failures and issue found during testing, while delivering detailed reports identifying these issues for further investigation.Work closely with development teamsNon-hybrid, full-time position on siteFlexible on working hour and working on global programs that required tight collaboration with local and global teams.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Mechanical / Bio-Medical / Electronic Engineering.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience as verification manager in multi-disciplinary medical products of PET/CT covering both manual/automation testing, with strong knowledge of software QMS and regulation processes.Good documentation skills of test design and scripts for complete coverage of detailed system requirementsQuality focus, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability.Good organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication.Good experience with Agile methodology.Good experience with test tools and frameworks (such as: ALM, Rally, Doors & Compass),Experience in team leadership, project management or direct or indirect people leadership experience.Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with global teams.Demonstrated project leadership and/or people management skills.Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.

Desired Characteristics:

Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.Experience in Healthcare industry and related software development background.
