Job Description
We are looking for a Hands-on Expert Verification Engineer with managerial aspirations to manage and Lead a verification team of integrated circuits and/or integrated circuit building blocks to meet functional and performance. To drive quality improvements in an amazing team.
Actively manage the verification and the team to meet the project goals (cost, timeline, performance)Take responsibility for delivering verification quality and executing timescalesCoordinate the (daily) activities of a teamPerformance management of subordinatesParticipate, organize and consult in verification result reviewsDevelop work plans and schedules, report progress to (project) managementMentor and train digital verification engineersDevelop verification plan based on specificationsReview design specifications to improve their quality, i.e. fitness for verificationProve correctness of design against specificationDesign and develop verification systems, decomposition and hardware/software partitioningDevelop verification componentsOptimize solutions for key indicators such as reusability, performance and ease of useIdentify and communicate improvements that may ease verification and/or improve design behaviourSteer make/buy decisions, develop in-house only if no more efficient solution is available externally.Participate and consult in design reviewsQualifications
>10 years’ experience in digital verification >10 years’ experience in UVMIntermediate digital design skillsKnowledge of verification methodologies, platforms and techniques, i.e. Functional Verification, ABV, Formal Verification, regression frameworks, UVM, FPGAExperienced with Cadence Xcelium, eManager+vManager, Verilog, VHDL, System-VerilogAble and experienced in independently setting up a UVM testbench from scratch, from specification to verification reportKnowledge and experience in wireless connectivity (e.g., WiFi, BT, Cellular) – an advantageAbility to propose innovative and leading edge solutionsHighly proficient in English language, written and spokenGood interpersonal communication skills and customer focusAbility to convince others based on technical knowledge and shows assertiveness to inform superiors/peersTeam player with a positive attitude who drives, develops and tutors colleagues within own disciplineAbility to set and meet goals and deadlines for self and othersInvolved projects in SW, Digital Radio and Analog
