Position Overview:The Vendor Relations Specialist will play a key role in supporting vendor onboarding, data setup, and issue resolution within the procurement and payment systems. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration across teams while maintaining independent ownership of workstreams. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex systems and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Document and assist in developing processes, reporting, training, and implementation for vendor data setupLead vendor onboarding and ensure accurate core data setup for procurement systemsAdvise cross-functional teams on vendor setup criteria to ensure proper order processingDevelop audit reports and maintain vendor data integrity across enterprise systemsResearch and qualify new vendors based on business needsResolve vendor issues, including disputed and outstanding invoicesTeam Interaction:Highly collaborative with cross-functional teamsMust be able to work independently and manage own workstreamsQualifications:2–4 years of experience in vendor relations, procurement, or business operationsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify process inefficienciesWorking knowledge of how vendor data impacts procurement and payment workflowsExperience with data analysis, business analytics, and operational documentationProficiency in Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and ticketing-based systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service experienceNice-to-Have Experience:Familiarity with vendors in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical servicesBackground in facilities or maintenance-related procurementPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
