BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Intern for Vendor Planner at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Project:
The main goal of this internship is to support the Vendor Planning team in daily operational activities related to supplier coordination, material planning, and production support.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in automotive supply chain operations, contributing to the continuity of material flow and production stability.
Responsibilities:
Support the team in monitoring supplier deliveries and material availabilityEnsure timely follow-up with suppliers to avoid production disruptionsContribute to the accuracy of planning data and reportingImprove visibility of potential supply risksDevelop knowledge of vendor planning processes within the automotive industryProvide operational support to ensure production continuityProfile:
Academic background in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similarBasic understanding of supply chain processes and production planningGood analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work with Excel (basic to intermediate level)Interest in the automotive industryGood communication skills and ability to work in a teamProactive attitude, willingness to learn and sense of responsibilityEnglish proficiency (spoken and written)What we offer:
