Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

**About the Opportunity:**
Jefferson Wells is partnering with a dynamic and growing client in Oak Brook, IL, to hire a Vendor Management Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team at the ground level as they launch a new Accounts Payable (AP) department. If you thrive in high-volume environments and are eager to help shape processes from the ground up, this role is for you.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage all aspects of vendor and P-Card setup.
+ Collaborate with leadership to design and implement a 1099 process.
+ Evaluate and recommend improvements to the corporate travel policy.
+ Assist in the development of contract review policies.
+ Define and standardize vendor setup procedures.
+ Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency in vendor management practices.
**Qualifications:**
+ 4+ years of experience in vendor management or accounts payable within a high-volume organization.
+ Proven ability to discuss and analyze total transaction volumes.
+ Strong understanding of vendor onboarding, P-Card administration, and 1099 compliance.
+ Familiarity with corporate travel processes and policy development.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
