Vehicle Sales Payment Coordinator
Position Summary: The main purpose of this role is to act as a compliance control between used vehicle sales and our Accounting team to ensure that vehicles that are paid for are sold off in a timely manner. The individual will be responsible for the validation of wire payments including compliance of bill of sale execution, export documentation, customer information, deposit information, proof of insurance information, title mailing information, and anti-money laundering policies. This position also has a responsibility to reconcile unresolved check payments made to Remarketing. This will require determining the issue and resolving the issue with Penske associates and/or customers. This position instills controls to ensure the full and accurate collection of vehicle sale related funds are in a timely manner so our customers can take possession of their purchase. Major Responsibilities: + · Wire payment validations including compliance of:o Wire informationo Bill of sale executiono Export certificationso Customer informationo Title mailing informationo Proof of insuranceo Deposit informationo Anti-Money Laundering policies + Be available to work after hours on the 1st working day of each month to ensure processing of any outstanding funds for vehicle sales + Review of unresolved check cases and working with Penske associates or customers in order to process the payment + G/L reconciliation + IRS 8300 reporting + Ensure Export and Import sales compliance + Monitoring and ensuring movement of internal Remarketing cancellation, refund, and employee incentive workflows + Data analysis for process improvement opportunities **Qualifications:** + 1 year experience in accounting, business administration, or data entry + High school diploma required.
