Job Description
The Valve Mechanic will be responsible for assembling pumps and valves used to regulate water and gas systems for various customers. Each customer will have specific requirements, and the mechanic must assemble them accordingly. The role involves utilizing hand tools and drawings to assemble pumps and valves, followed by testing them to ensure proper functionality using air. If there are any issues, the mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting them. Additionally, the Valve Mechanic will safely band the valve to a pallet for shipping, possibly using an overhead crane.

Work Environment
The position is based in a small climate-controlled valve shop. Employees can wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and steel-toe shoes. The current shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 6 pm, reflecting a very busy schedule with work every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
