Job Summary:
The Value Based Care/Quality Manager will lead data analytics initiatives to enhance population health strategies, analyzing data to pinpoint areas for operational and clinical advancements. The primary focus will be identifying improvement opportunities, developing strategies to boost performance, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical to help drive the transition to value-based care by improving the clinical and financial performance of the Oswego Health Medical Practices quality programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of workflows that align practice operations with value-based care objectives. Partner with operational and clinical leadership to achieve target performance results. Educate providers and staff on value-based care principles and quality standards. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for value-based care programs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and execute a robust quality monitoring process to ensure compliance with value-based program requirements. Provide timely and constructive feedback to leadership, providers, and staff on quality and performance outcomes. Generate and present performance reports and audit findings to practices and drive improvements. Leverage data analytics to track and optimize performance across value-based initiatives. Design and maintain informative reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for effective monitoring. Analyze performance data to uncover trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions. Define and recommend metrics and methodologies to support continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, financial, and IT teams to ensure program alignment and success. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering engagement and understanding. Facilitate meetings with internal and external teams to drive collaboration and project progress. Undertake additional duties to support value-based care and RCM goals as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities (Unit Specific):
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding, and billing practices. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner). Experience with quality assurance and performance improvement methodologies.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, finance, or business). 3 – 5 years of experience in healthcare, healthcare revenue cycle management, value-based care, or a related field

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ability to lift twenty (20) pounds, fine motor skills, visual acuity.

Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000/annual
Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
