Validation Engineer 3
Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Validation Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Validation Engineer 3, you will be part of the Vehicle Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Validation Engineer 3 **Location:** Pontiac, MI **Pay Range: $35 - $41 per hour** **What's the Job?** + Define vehicle and buck requirements for assigned partitions to ensure project specifications are met. + Lead the test hardware reduction process for various vehicle partitions to optimize testing efficiency. + Take appropriate action on issues, lead recovery plan efforts, and support continuous improvement initiatives. + Support the Supplier Validation process to ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained. + Develop and maintain partition ADV plans and schedules, providing technical assessments for PDT/PIT phases. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. + 5-7 years of relevant auto industry experience, with a strong background in automotive engineering methodology. + Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication tools such as Lotus Notes. + Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally. + Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively, partnering with senior management to analyze and resolve issues. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative automotive environment. + Engage in meaningful projects that impact vehicle development and validation processes. + Collaborate with a diverse and talented team committed to excellence. + Develop your skills and advance your career within a global organization. + Supportive work culture that values inclusion, diversity, and continuous improvement.
