To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What You’ll Be Doing** Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Content, you’ll be part of our growing UX content team and responsible for writing, translating, editing and proofreading French content for the Digital Business Banking’s web, mobile and related materials. The UX Content Lead French will work as part of collaborative, cross-functional teams (e.g. UX/UI Design, Marketing, Product, Technology, etc.) to effectively deliver a cohesive and compelling user experience, and to ensure timely delivery of accurate, concise, inclusive and accessible content. You’ll contribute to the French editorial process by creating and maintaining French editorial standards, ensuring a consistent and client-friendly tone of voice. The position will also support the coordination of French translations, editorial reviews and approvals by stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and has exceptional interpersonal skills. You manage translation requests in a timely and cost-effective manner, working cooperatively with our partners. You’ll support the end-to-end process for writing and delivering content materials and client communications, editorial review and approvals by stakeholders. + **Take initiative –** You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities with tight deadlines. You proactively resolve the complexities and ambiguities that arise on projects. You use your excellent communication, consultation and interpersonal skills to champion the French translation discipline and its nuances. + **Project Delivery –** You’ll implement and execute the content component of all projects by working collaboratively with key team members (e.g. Design, Business Analysts, Product Development, Marketing & QA) and development environment where timely delivery of content deliverables is critical. + **Relationship Building –** You’ll build and manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring all partners and stakeholders (e.g. Segment Teams, Product, Legal and Compliance, etc.) are appropriately engaged and updated on all French content-related deliverables. + **UX Content Design and Strategy –** You’ll contribute and support our content strategy by taking an active role in identifying site improvements, recommending strategic content placement and delivering a cohesive and compelling experience to our clients. + **Accessibility Knowledge –** You’re well versed in accessibility: Know how to use alt text, hidden text, ARIA labels to ensure we’re compliant with existing and future regulations. **Who You Are** + **You are proficient in French at a native level.** You bring extensive knowledge of the French language that’s backed by a degree in translation or equivalent work experience, preferably in the UX content design area. While you’ll primarily focus on delivering French content, you must be bilingual in English and French. You have strong terminology research skills, awareness of French-Canadian nuances and good working knowledge of OQLF’s standards, Termium, le GDT, Antidote and terminology databases. + **You understand that success is in the details** **.** You notice things that others don't.
