About the role

Participate and collaborate in day-to-day business to develop the portfolio of Personal Accidents and Life Individual DM, with the underwriting process by ensuring it complies with the goals and objectives of production and profitability. Professionals with abilities towards proactivity, engagement and commitment are preferred.Underwriting: awareness of risk analysis and pricing which includes rate building, pricing methodology, claims process and requirements.Communication: strong ability to open communication and develop peer relations.Problem-solving: defining the problem, generating alternatives, evaluating, and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.Negotiating: distribution abilities and negotiation skills to drive results towards sales targets.Operational support: optimizing work processes, identifying areas of opportunity to reduce variances in organization's processes, deliver high quality products and services meeting needs and requirements from internal and external customers based on delivering solid & consistent results.

Responsibilities

Reports to the Personal Accident Manager, responsible for doing the underwriting process for DDM campaigns, support our DDM channels with all A&H commercial strategies, with priority, but not limited, on DDM business.Responsible for establishing good sponsors with brokers and caring about attracting new accounts and looking for the increase in sales in Personal Accidents business.Analyze the potential businesses identified by the Distribution and/or Mass Dept. requested by the Brokers / Sponsor.Prepare the final quote and attractive renewal conditions for the Sponsor / Client and convenient for the company in terms of profitability and risk exposure according to their level of authorityPreparation of the Referral and authorization request in case the quote values ​​exceed the local authority.Preparation of the Non-Standard Compensation document for PCC approvalPresent the final quote to the commercial team, or together with the commercial executive, the Broker or Sponsor, when required.Negotiate policy conditions (new or renewals) reaching agreements as required by the Broker / Sponsor, always within the margins allowed by the company.Provide technical advice to the Broker/ Sponsor or Client when required.Generate and send the issuing request to the Operations Department for the issuance of policies.Verify the correct allocation of the products within the guidelines of the company.Carry out negotiations with assistance providers, within the benefits that are sought to be incorporated into our products.Generate, analyze, and present monthly subscription reports, key business indicators, and the massive portfolio.

Profile

Training: 3rd level degree in careers such as: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related careers.Experience: 3 years of experience in similar positions in areas such as underwriting.Specialized Knowledge: Technical knowledge of insurance and underwriting of personal Accidents, health care, and life insurance products.Ingles level knowledge: medium (70%).Utilities: Advanced Excel.Proper communication, listening skills and interpretation.Ease of dealing with rejection.Efficient time management.Persistent.Ability to work as a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Willing and able to adapt to change.Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure.
