Essential Job Duties:
The University Mail Services Technician is responsible for processing, sorting, and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail for the University. This role ensures accurate handling of domestic and international mail, proper postage classification, timely campus-wide distribution, and maintenance of postal records.

Required Qualifications:
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Experience processing, sorting, and distributing mail.
+ Ability to accurately classify mail and apply correct postage rates.
+ Ability to operate mail processing equipment and machinery.
+ Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 1–2 years of experience in mail services, postal operations, or a related support function.
+ Experience processing outgoing University U.S. Mail, including determining proper class and rate and maintaining postal charge records.
+ Experience sorting mail within a centralized mail services environment.
+ Experience processing domestic and international mail through the U.S. Postal Service.
+ Familiarity with interdepartmental mail systems and campus-wide distribution processes.
