Utilization Management Documentation & Training Consultant II
Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is also responsible for providing classroom, web-based, and one-on-one training to technical staff; leveraging working knowledge of products, clinical, and operational workflows, identifying application enhancements into each curriculum trained; training on product, processes, content, and system updates and optimization for multiple applications; monitoring end-user support during system and content go-lives and annual application upgrades and addressing standard end users system issues; monitoring analysis of client business processes and functional application requirements; documenting the validation processes for the development and maintenance of the training environment; and potentially providing support to problem resolution of information systems related issues and escalating non-standard concerns from users/clinical/training personnel. Identifies and speaks up for ways to address improvement opportunities. + Supports other groups within or outside the company by: supporting consultants, local Human Resources, and or client business leaders to execute systems, initiatives, and programs. + Works on design and development of trainings by: drafting basic content (e.g., training aids) and reviewing other supporting materials and guidelines to ensure curriculum accuracy; participating in identifying potential training methods (e.g., e-learning, in-person, classroom, on-site, just-in-time support, web sessions, blended learning, and conference calls) and programs; having an understanding of training objectives for education modules, participating in the revision of training modules, and review of supporting materials; supporting and helping prioritize short-term and at times long-term learning goals and helping the business unit reach these objectives; and identifying alternative training techniques, procedures, and/or methods. + Gathers programs training needs by: supporting a standard needs assessment of training and or performance issue. + Monitors effectiveness of training by: using standard methods to measure the effectiveness of training to foster continuous improvement of programs. + Completes work assignmentsand supports completion of projects by: learning to develop and analyze standard project/program plans which include scope identification and management, schedule, inter-dependencies, and resource forecast. + Responsible for aiding in effective training delivery by: assisting in the delivery of training program(s) (e.g., orientation, customer service, and supervisory skills); assisting with the facilitation of training by leveraging adult learning principles; supporting the evaluation and the application of skills, knowledge, and training objectives; gathering feedback or results of the training assessment and summarizing results; and serving as a junior trainer by leading standard training routinely monitored by others and assisting in selecting best practices for training modalities (e.g., virtual, in-person classroom). Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelors Degree in business, communication, education, behavioral science, or a directly related field, OR Minimum three (3) years of experience in training delivery, curriculum design, training development and evaluation, or a directly related field. Additional Requirements: + Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Written Communication; Content Development; Coordination Preferred Qualifications: + Two (2) years of experience with eLearning development tools and virtual learning technologies. + Two (2) years of experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
