**Job Title: Utility Worker**
The Utility Worker supports the daily operations of the school cafeteria by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used for food preparation.
+ Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
+ Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
+ Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining areas.
+ Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
+ Support cafeteria staff during meal service as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth cafeteria operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in food service and cleaning.
+ Ability to prepare and handle food safely and efficiently.
+ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience as a server or in a similar role is a plus.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working in a cafeteria environment with a schedule from 3 pm to 10 pm. Working schedule will be assigned on the first day of work
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.20 - $15.20/hr.
