Job Description

Join a dynamic metal fabrication company as a Utility Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. This position involves handling various tasks related to metal fabrication, ensuring the production runs smoothly and efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload parts onto different presses.Clean slag off of parts to ensure quality.Perform sandblasting tasks.Potentially load material onto a plasma table.Load material onto a burn table.Essential Skills1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial environment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.General production skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior machine operation experience, particularly with brake press and shear press.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a shop with 40 colleagues, focusing on custom parts for the AG industry. The shift runs from noon to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
