Job Description
The Utility Worker performs a variety of tasks in support of the department. These tasks include cleaning and performing basic janitorial duties, assisting in maintaining all areas of the department in a sanitary condition, ensuring the work area is kept neat by heavy cleaning, receiving and storing departmental supplies and food, and washing dishes, pots, and pans.
ResponsibilitiesPerform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.Wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwashing machine.Maintain cleanliness of work tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.Transfer supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as the pantry and dish room.Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.Polish silverware and maintain food service and environmental services (EVS) standards.Essential SkillsExperience in janitorial duties.Proficiency in dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.Ability to perform sanitizing tasks efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food service and environmental services (EVS).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position requires working the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, five days a week with rotating weekends.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
