Job Title: Utility Worker

Job Description

This position is for a production machine operator role in the Hillsboro area, with a leading paper and printing manufacturing facility. Although you will primarily work the day shift, you may be asked to cover alternative shifts with a two-day notice. As part of your training, you might be moved to different shifts, with at least a week's notice, to accommodate trainers' schedules. You will start your new schedule on a Monday, allowing a weekend for transition.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor in a pre-printing facility.Mix and pour inks.Complete assigned Passover duties.Load and operate printing machines.Conduct quality checks of prints and ink colors.Maintain general shop housekeeping.Lift up to 50 lbs.Maintain high attention to detail.Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.Ability to load, unload, and mix materials.Skills in construction, general production, packaging, and machine operation.Competency in cleaning and inspection tasks.Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production, warehousing, or general labor.Ability to read and write in English.Backgrounds in auto mechanics have proven successful.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
