**Job Title: Utility Operator** **Job Description** This role involves receiving scrap metal using a crane, operating a forklift to transport the metal, identifying various types of metal, and depositing the metal into the appropriate furnaces. **Responsibilities** + Operate a crane to receive scrap metal. + Use a forklift to move metal within the facility. + Identify different types of metals accurately. + Deposit metals into the correct furnaces. + Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. + Follow job-specific work instructions for assigned tasks. + Perform physically demanding tasks, including walking up and down plant stairs multiple times per hour. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in forklift operation. + Experience with crane operation. + Skilled in inventory and material handling. + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a heavy, industrial work environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy 11 paid holidays and opportunities for double and triple time on weekends.
