Utility Operator
**Job Title: Utility Operator** **Job Description** The Utility Operator sets up, adjusts, maintains, and operates various pieces of equipment, including automatic glass washers, depyrogenation tunnels, cappers, tray loaders, and automatic bag openers. The Utility Operator is responsible for complying with all cGMPs, SOPs, equipment parameters, and safety regulations. SHIFT: 11pm - 7am **Responsibilities** + Prepare equipment at the start of each lot. + Verify incoming components for correctness using the Order Number. + Set up and operate equipment throughout the shift. + Monitor parameters such as machine speed, water pressure, temperature, and belt speed periodically during the shift and record them as required per SOPs and cGMPs. + Clean and clear equipment and work area when starting the shift and end of each production run. + Maintain the quality of machine output, including reporting manufacturing/component deviations and process deviations to the area Process Supervisor or designee. + Complete all required batch record and logbook paperwork. + Train individuals on equipment when required. + Maintain general housekeeping of equipment and area throughout the shift and work overtime as required to support business needs. **Essential Skills** + Experience in pharma, GMP, SOP, production, packaging, inspection, labeling, filling, machine operation, cleanroom, and batching. + Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day. + Basic English language and math skills. + Ability to bend and lift up to 40lbs repetitively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Entry-level position. + Ideal candidates come from a similar production, pharma, or other GMP environment. + High School Diploma or equivalent is required. + Reliable, strong attendance, and ability to be trained. + Comfortable working in a cleanroom pharma environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a clean, sterile, climate-controlled environment with a large cafeteria and discounted lunches for all employees. Lab coats, shoe covers, hair nets, etc. must be worn at all times. Workers are required to change into scrubs/coats in the locker room before entering the sterile area for work. The position is on the 2nd Shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with availability needed for some weekends and new hire orientation on the first two days. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
