Utility Operator
**Job Summary** We are seeking to hire utility operators and a forklift/material handler on our 1st shift. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting in various tasks related to machine operations, materials handling, and maintaining a clean work environment. Utility Operator responsibilities - + Assist with machine operating duties on shears, press brakes, etc. + Occasionally grind or de burr parts for welding team + Assist in paint booth as needed + Gather raw material and maintain clean shop environment Forklift/Material Handler responsibilities - + Stage and build order of finished structural steel + Working in outbound or loaded area, moving from inside to outside + Will move material weighing multiple tons and up to 30 ft long (working in teams) + Possess high level of communication, teamwork **Required Skills** + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Proficiency in materials handling and inventory management. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Experience in manufacturing operations. + Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. + Experience in loading and unloading trucks. **Preferred Experience & Qualifications** + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Prior experience working within a weld shop setting is a huge plus! **Additional Information** + 1st shift, 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday. + Overtime maybe required after core hours. + Enjoy weekly pay + full benefits on day 1 (medical/dental/vision) **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
