Job Title: Utility Locator

Job Description

This position involves traveling to client construction sites to ensure that utility locating has been accurately marked, serving as a quality control role. The technician will document and verify that all water, gas, and electrical/cabling are located and marked before digging begins. Responsibilities include taking photos to attach to daily reports and documentation, which is currently paper-based, and submitting them to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Travel to client construction sites to verify accurate utility locating.Ensure water, gas, and electrical/cabling are marked before digging.Document findings with photos and reports, submitting them daily.Communicate effectively with supervisors, GC/Subcontractors, and end user owners.

Essential Skills

Background in construction.Ability to work independently.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with electrical and service tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous locating experience.Previous management experience.Familiarity with computer software, email, and tablets.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
