**1st Shift Utility Assembler in Birdsboro, PA** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for Crane Systems who will primarily be responsible for assembling wire rope and web strap hoist final assemblies. The role involves working with a variety of hand tools and requires previous assembly experience. **Pay Rate & Hours** This is a full time 1st shift Position from 7am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri. Pay rate is $19.25 per hour. **Responsibilities** + Assemble sub-assembly components and maintain efficient workflow throughout the production process. + Ensure the quality of all components and verify the functionality of assembled parts. + Follow all safety procedures and obtain job order traveler and engineered drawings. + Install pulley blocks and web ends for web strap models. + Proof test every hoist and place assembled hoists on carts for packaging or winding/swaging. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to solve problems and work individually or as part of a team. + High level of integrity and work ethic. + Understanding of machining processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Production/assembly experience is a plus. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Some relevant technical training and/or experience is a plus. **Work Environment** The work environment is a small shop setting, hot in the summers and temperature-controlled in the winters.
