Utilities Technician Details:

Direct Hire position$40.36 to $44.47 /hourThird Shift (Sunday through Sunday from 06:00pm to 06:30am)Understands and supports company and site safety and quality policies and performs work related activities in a safe manner. Recognizes unsafe working conditions, coaches peers, and suggests new safety standards as appropriateMonitors and troubleshoots the ammonia refrigeration system and responds accordingly. Understands, follows, and improves Process Safety Management (PSM) documentation. Successful completion of Ammonia Operator 1 requiredOperates and maintains combustion equipment (including oven burners, boilers, oxidizers, etc)Operates and maintains compressed air systemOperates and maintains multiple water streams and wastewater treatment facilityOperates and maintains HVAC equipment, including but not limited to filter and belt changes, equipment cleaning and performing PMsMaintains facility, including but not limited to general office repair, site clearing of snow, restroomsDocuments inspection rounds, maintains running work logUtilizes drawings, prints, and instruction manuals to determine proper steps to be taken for equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs

Utilities Technician Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years mechanical, maintenance, or utilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment requiredMinimum 2 years of relevant experience with HVAC, combustion, ammonia refrigeration systems preferredPrevious food manufacturing experience in a similar role preferredRegulatory compliance experience preferredElectrical and instrumentation experience preferred.
