The Opportunity:
UST is looking for USB Developer

 
Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyze, reproduce, and triage bugs across the entire USB stack, including USB C, Power Delivery, and USB data protocols.Perform debugging using PD analyzers and USB protocol analyzers to isolate issues at link, protocol, and power levels.Validate USB C/PD functionality, compliance, and interoperability across devices and platforms.Review USB protocol traces and logs to identify failures, timing violations, and specification non compliances.Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to drive root cause analysis and resolution.Develop and maintain documentation for USB C/PD debug procedures, analysis flows, and test methodologies.Support system level validation and triage activities during product development cycles.Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve USB C/PD reliability, performance, and design robustness.

Desired Skills:

Deep expertise in USB C, USB Power Delivery (PD), and USB 2.0/3.x data protocols, including spec level understanding.Strong hands on experience with PD analyzers (e.g., GRL, Total Phase, Teledyne LeCroy) and USB protocol analyzers.Ability to interpret USB C/PD traces, SOP/SOP messages, VDMs, power negotiation, and alternate mode behaviors.Solid understanding of USB electrical characteristics, role swaps, power roles, and configuration channel (CC) behavior.Experience with debugging hardware software interactions in complex USB systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills for issues spanning PHY, link, protocol, and power layers.Familiarity with USB compliance test methodologies and relevant test tools.Effective communication skills for cross functional collaboration and clear bug reporting.

Qualification:
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Domain.
Proficient in Python,
