About the Oncology Pharmacy Team
Our Oncology Pharmacy team is dedicated to advancing cancer treatment by delivering specialized, high-quality pharmaceutical care. We work closely with patients, prescribers, and pharmacists to ensure safe, effective, and personalized medication management. In this role, you’ll be a vital connection between patients and their care teams—providing education, injection training, and holistic support that empowers patients to navigate their treatment journey with confidence, all while contributing to Walmart’s mission of making exceptional healthcare accessible.
**What you'll do...**
+ Provide telephonic/video patient education, injection training, and ongoing case management for oncology therapies.
+ Support medication adherence by addressing barriers and coordinating with prescribers, pharmacists, and prior authorization teams.
+ Monitor patient health status, assess treatment response, and provide evidence-based recommendations to care teams.
+ Ensure compliance with REMS programs, pharmacy policies, and accreditation requirements.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge on oncology medications, administration techniques, and infusion-related best practices.
What You’ll Bring
+ Active RN licensure in state of practice, with multi-state licensure preferred.
+ Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential required.
+ At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or specialty pharmacy.
+ Strong patient education, assessment, and case management skills.
+ Proficiency in navigating complex care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The hourly wage range for this position is $28.00-$42.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
