The Connected Planning team at Sam’s Club powers the intelligence behind enterprise-wide financial forecasting and planning. We build scalable, data-driven platforms and products that enable strategic decision-making across our member-focused business. As a Staff Product Manager on this team, you’ll shape the future of how Sam’s Club anticipates, adapts, and acts—delivering meaningful value for our members and associates.
**About the Role**
We are looking for a **Staff Product Manager** with expertise in **financial/retail planing, forecasting, and enterprise analytics** . You’ll own the vision, roadmap, and execution of key initiatives to improve Sam’s Club’s planning capabilities—leveraging cutting-edge tools, member insights, and deep collaboration across Finance, Data Science, and Technology.
**What You'll Do...**
**Data-Driven Product Decisions**
+ Independently design and execute product and feature analytics.
+ Use modern data analysis tools and documentation procedures to evaluate trends and derive actionable insights.
+ Guide teams on data collection, instrumentation, and KPIs that tie back to business outcomes.
+ Drive experimentation frameworks to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance
**Customer-Centric Problem Solving**
+ Deeply understand the needs of Finance partners and internal customers.
+ Apply **design thinking** , journey mapping, and process optimization to deliver user-friendly, value-driven solutions.
+ Build continuous feedback loops to improve product experience and identify customer friction points.
**Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap**
+ Own and evolve the product strategy for financial planning tools and platforms.
+ Develop and communicate product roadmaps with clear phasing, MVP strategy, and iterative improvement cycles.
+ Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities, manage dependencies, and remove roadblocks.
+ Lead product discovery using first principles, lean experimentation, and hypothesis framing.
**Stakeholder Alignment & Communication**
+ Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Finance, Tech, Data Science, and Strategy.
+ Influence cross-functional teams with data-backed insights and clear, concise communication.
+ Proactively manage change and ambiguity by aligning stakeholders around product decisions and trade-offs.
**Technology Fluency & Execution**
+ Represent technology requirements and feasibility discussions during feature design.
+ Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalability, InfoSec compliance, and quality assurance.
**Domain Expertise & Innovation**
+ Apply deep knowledge of enterprise financial planning, forecasting models, and budgeting tools
+ Monitor industry trends and market standards to recommend innovative practices and automation opportunities.
+ Share cross-domain insights and benchmarks to elevate the team’s strategic thinking.
**What You'll Bring...**
+ 7+ years in product management with experience in enterprise software, finance tech, or analytics platforms.
+ Strong foundation in **financial modeling, planning workflows, or forecasting systems** .
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with high ambiguity and complexity.
+ Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Amplitude, or Looker).
+ Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, MVP development, and iterative product releases.
+ Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
