Data Quality & Reliability

Design and implement comprehensive data quality frameworks to ensure operational data freshness, correctness, and accuracyEstablish automated data validation, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve data quality issuesDefine and enforce data governance standards and best practices across the organizationConduct regular data audits and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity

Data Pipeline Development

Architect, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest operational data into our data warehouseOptimize data pipeline performance for efficiency and cost-effectivenessImplement real-time and batch processing solutions based on business requirementsEnsure pipeline reliability through comprehensive testing, monitoring, and error handling

Business Intelligence & Visualization

Design and develop PowerBI dashboards and reports to support Operational and Engineering Excellence objectivesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand visualization requirements and translate them into effective data solutionsCreate self-service analytics capabilities to empower business usersEstablish visualization best practices and maintain a library of reusable components

Technical Leadership

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior data engineersParticipate in architectural decisions and technology selection for data infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Software Engineering, and Business AnalyticsDocument technical designs, processes, and best practicesParticipate in on-call rotation for critical data infrastructure supportStay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption

What you'll bring:

 

Required Experience & Technical Skills

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fieldExpert-level proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java)Extensive experience building and maintaining data pipelines using modern orchestration tools (Airflow, Databricks, etc.)Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Proficiency in PowerBI development including DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualizationsExperience with both real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and batch processing frameworksKnowledge of data warehouse design patterns and dimensional modelingProven track record of implementing data quality monitoring and alerting systemsExperience with DataOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelinesUnderstanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
