About the team:
Our team is passionate about building high-performance software for Vizio Smart TVs. We operate at the intersection of UI, middleware, and hardware, collaborating closely to deliver seamless video experiences. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing solutions that power Walmart’s Smart TV platforms, helping us stay at the forefront of technology and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do: Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Smart TV platforms using advanced C++ and Linux.Implement and optimize system components with a focus on security (including SE-Linux) and modular deployment using Snaps.Ensure high quality through rigorous code reviews, integration testing, and automation frameworks.Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests leveraging BDD frameworks and emulation environments.Collaborate on continuous integration and automated testing strategies to improve reliability and delivery speed.Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for embedded development, security, and automated testing
What you'll bring: Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field4+ years of embedded software development experienceExpertise in C/C++ (C++17+) and Linux/RTOS-based systemsStrong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience with Emulation, HAL, and BDD frameworks is a plus
