(USA) Senior Manager, Technology Operations - Process Transformation & Data Governance
Position Summary...We are seeking a technical and innovative senior manager to support the Senior Director, Data Strategy & Governance
in transforming and modernizing the claims handling process to improve business outcomes and drive efficiencies. This will be achieved through the combination of optimizing business processes and data, deploying AI solutions and the implementation of sound data governance practices. The role must bring process architecture expertise and hands-on experience across all the stages of the data life cycle to identify opportunities to optimize the data eco-system. Additionally, this role must bring experience in implementing and operationalizing data governance with particular focus on the technical data universe ensuring compliance with governance policies and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do...

Governance & Technical Stewardship

lead cadence with Technology and technical data stewards to advance the data governance programpartner with the Enterprise Data Strategy to identify the universe of technical assets and claim ownershipensure all technical data assets including AI models, databases, schemas and tables are cataloged and definedwork with engineering teams to capture and improve technical metadata documentationcollaborate with the Business Data Steward Lead on data governance related issues including the association of technical to business metricsanalyze gaps between data governance policies and engineering processes and partner with Technology to integrate data governance practicesimplement processes to govern and manage data sharing and data access ensure data practices align with regulatory and compliance requirements for data privacy (CCPA, HIPPA etc.)lead efforts related to data classification, lineage, quality and de-duplicationunderstand current EDP product features, i.e. metadata, lineage, quality, etc and represent WCS with regards needs/asks for EDP development addressing aspects associated with technical data

Process Architecture, Automation & AI

assess the end-to-end claims process to identify opportunities for optimization by bringing experience with tools/methods used to discover, model and measure business processesfacilitate working sessions with Product and business stakeholders to redesign processes where neededpartner with Product to explore solutions for process opportunities and provide input as it relates to application and system solution architecturehelp identify high-impact use cases for AI and automation across the claims handling processhelp gather requirements and support the design and implementation of automation strategies and AI agentsensure AI agents are integrated into workflows with strong performance monitoringcollaborate with Data Analytics on opportunities for solutions including natural language processing and machine learning etcdefine KPIs and benchmarks for success and track transformation progressadvocate for a culture of continuous improvement, digital dexterity, and AI literacy across teams.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.8+ years of experience in process architecture and data governanceProficient in process architecture and automation/digitization including ability to create business process blueprints using tools like BPMN, Visio etcUnderstand concepts and tools for ML/AI, Gen AI and building AI AgentExperience with application and system solution architectureUnderstands enterprise application and system architecture (microservices, APIs) and well as IT infrastructure and data platforms (Azure, GCP etc)Good understanding of the end-to end data cycle – ingestion, transformation, storage and consumptionKnowledge in data architecture, modeling, integration, ETL processesProficient in using data analysis tools – SQL, PythonExperience in operationalizing data governance and using catalog tools (e.g. EDP, Collibra, Informatica)Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and data compliance requirements.Knowledge of BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau and Looker)Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detailAbility to do root cause analysis and data interpretation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
