Job Description
The Walmart Customer Insights & Strategy team plays a critical role representing the customer voice to drive business results. We help guide business leaders as they constantly evolve our value proposition to better meet our customers’ ever-changing needs and expectations. Our group acts as trusted advisor to the business, owning and delivering actionable business critical insights derived from custom research studies, analytical and modeling projects and a variety of marketplace and competitive trackers.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive, thoughtful everyday leader who is passionate about driving new business growth and growth of our membership business through a combination of customer understanding, business acumen, and an ability to story tell with data.
As a Senior Manager –Walmart+ Customer Insights, you will be responsible for leading key work streams independently. You will scope these work streams, bring in vendor partners, align with senior stakeholders on chosen partner, establish ways of working, align on objectives, timelines, deliverables and manage end to end execution. You will proactively think about elevating the deliverables, tying them with other workstreams and ensuring broad socialization across a range of internal executive stakeholders.
The candidate must have excellent hands-on qualitative and quantitative research experience in a number of research methodologies. Experience running surveys or managing research vendors to run quantitative research projects is also essential. Candidates must also possess customer obsession and a desire to affect change on behalf of the customer, experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders, strong project management and analytical skills, as well as a track record of delivering projects in complex and ambiguous environments.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of work experience in Marketing Research, Brand or Consumer Insights Strong knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, syndicated and first party search tools Ability to leverage AI to work efficiently, accelerate speed-to-insights and generate compelling deliverables for executive audiencesRecord of proactively applying your research skills to influence business and brand strategy Strategic mindset and bias for action with ability for strategic planning and influencing business leaders with data driven insights Ability to thrive under tight deadline and work confidently amidst ambiguity and uncertainty Excellent project management skills, in a face-paced environment, with proven ability to lead multiple projects and priorities Must have excellent analytic problem and critical-thinking skills Outstanding written communication and story-telling skills An inquisitive and curious mindset, always striving to understand the “why”Minimum qualifications:

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
