**Position Summary...**
As Associate Creative Director for Walmart+, you will lead the internal design team in shaping the visual identity and marketing assets across Walmart’s digital platforms. You’ll oversee the creation of cohesive, brand-consistent experiences across desktop, mobile, and app environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design with broader business goals. You’ll manage high-impact projects, mentor designers, and drive innovation through cutting-edge design systems and trend integration. Your leadership will ensure the Walmart+ brand remains visually compelling, strategically aligned, and customer-focused across all touchpoints.
**What you'll do...**
+ **Leadership:** Support the Creative Director and drive the day-to-day operation of the Walmart+ design team including leading a team of designers, partnering with copy and managing multiple cross functional stakeholder relationships.
+ **Collaboration:** Work closely with creative, marketing, production, and other key stakeholders to implement design systems that achieve broader Walmart+ business goals.
+ Pursue ways that we can work better, faster.
+ Manage projects that are on-brief and polished, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track.
+ Partner with Creative Account Management and Production teams to manage timelines and executions to concept breakthrough creative on schedule and on budget.
+ **Walmart+ Innovation:** Oversee the creation of sustainable, cutting-edge design systems that reflect the brand’s values, enhance market presence, and resonate with audiences.
+ **Project Oversight:** Manage high-profile design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
+ **Trend Awareness:** Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging design technologies including artificial intelligence, incorporating relevant trends into brand design strategies.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a self-starting and experienced Associate Creative Director to help lead the internal team responsible for the design direction, execution and visual consistency of the Walmart+ membership program. This role will lead and direct the creation of marketing assets across all customer touchpoints in Walmart’s owned digital ecosystem. This includes desktop, mobile website and app assets, landing pages, banners, notifications and other digital placements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand development, design, and digital design. Familiarity with UX and UI design flows a plus. The Associate Creative Director will be responsible for driving and maintaining the look and feel of Walmart+ in collaboration with external agency partners and leading an internal team of designers to create cohesive design systems that connect upper funnel marketing efforts to owned digital destinations. The ideal candidate has experience designing brand-consistent assets on owned digital properties using a blend of strong leadership and hands-on creative expertise.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art direction, or a related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in design, brand design, and applying design thinking across multiple digital touchpoints.
+ Experience leading and mentoring a team of designers.
+ Proven track record of driving design and brand consistency in a complex matrixed organization.
+ Exceptional portfolio showcasing design process and strategic thinking across digital, CRM and direct mail.
+ Strong illustration, photography, and motion design experience.
+ Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Workfront, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, and Figma.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment focusing on design and maintaining brand design standards & rules.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
