About the team:
The Internal Audit team delivers independent assurance and advisory support across Walmart’s Health & Wellness and Real Estate sectors. The team safeguards assets, enhances operational effectiveness, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations. By collaborating with business leaders, they provide insights that improve processes, reduce risks, and support strategic initiatives. Their work spans pharmacies, healthcare operations, site selection, construction, and asset management. Valuing analytical thinking and clear communication, the team fosters strong partnerships while maintaining professional independence, driving accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement aligned with Walmart’s mission.What you'll do...Lead the development and execution of global audit plans to mitigate organizational risks and support business objectives.Oversee audit teams by assigning duties, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a high-performing environment.Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to define audit scope, objectives, and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements through rigorous audit testing and validation.Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and sharing best practices across global audit teams.Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with internal standards.Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and professional development within the audit function.
What you'll bring: Extensive experience in audit management, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation across global operations.Proven ability to lead and develop audit teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.Strong expertise in internal auditing, control validation, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.Excellent communication skills to effectively present audit findings and collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders.Demonstrated capability in driving process improvements and leveraging data analytics to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.Commitment to upholding integrity, ethics, and company policies while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
