We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Senior Director, Data Science to lead analytics and data science across our entire business.

Your scope will be broad and cross multiple areas of work:
The role will lead the full gamut of analytics and data science capabilities across the entirety of Walmart Business. Broadly categorized, you will be responsible for:
Business insights: Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses to support business cases and business decision making. Identify trends, risks and opportunities for the business. Engage in key initiatives and embed in critical 4ITB teams.Experimentation and modeling: Drive rapid experiment and A/B testing including with digital twins and synthetic data. Develop and test models that, if successful, can be scaled and productionized. Bring AI / ML into our business in an aggressive way. Collaborate with eComm Data Science / Analytics and with Walmart Business Data Engineering to deliver business value.Enablement: Ensure the right data is available in the right reports and dashboards to understand, evaluate and manage the business day-to-day. This includes financial, customer, member, marketing, assortment, price, fulfillment, sales and other operational data as well as site and product analytics. Ensure these tools are self-serve for the business and incorporate intelligence, on top of the data. Leverage broader eComm reporting / incorporate B2B data there to the greatest degree possible.You’ll make an impact by:

Minimum
Bachelors Degree in Data Science / Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics /Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Physics / Hard Sciences or related field or 4 years’ equivalent experiencePreferred

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
