About the Smart TV Engineering Team
Our team is passionate about building high-performance software for Vizio Smart TVs. We operate at the intersection of UI, middleware, and hardware, collaborating closely to deliver seamless video experiences. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing solutions that power Walmart’s Smart TV platforms, helping us stay at the forefront of technology and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and test embedded software for Smart TV platformsIntegrate and optimize video control and processing features across device layersEnsure high quality and performance for diverse video streams and codecsDevelop unit and system-level tests using BDD frameworksMentor and train junior engineers

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of embedded software development experienceExpertise in C/C++ (C++17+) and Linux/RTOS-based systemsStrong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience with video/audio processing, HAL, and BDD frameworks is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
