**Position Summary...** We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to architect, own, and deliver identity, authentication, and authorization solutions for agentic AI ecosystems. This role focuses on non-human identity (NHI), with focus on AI identity control plane, AI identity governance, continuous authentication, risk-based access control, and adaptive authorization on a global scale. You will own reference architectures and lead delivery of secure, scalable AI identity solutions. **What you'll do...** + Own and evolve AI identity reference architectures. + Architect and implement secure identity solutions for agentic AI systems. + Design and enforce delegated authority and adaptive authorization models. + Implement continuous authentication and risk-based access control. + Build automation for agent identity lifecycle and credential governance. + Define observability, audit, and compliance controls for agent actions. + Mentor engineers and drive engineering standards. + Partner with platform and security teams to deliver secure AI capabilities. **Responsibilities** + 10+ years of Software Engineering experience building and deploying ent + erprise scale systems. + 3+ years of experience in Identity, authentication and authorization at enterprise scale. + Strong understanding of agentic AI architectures and Non-Human Identity lifecycle management. + Experience designing continuous authentication and runtime trust evaluation. + Hands-on experience with adaptive authorization and policy-as-code. + Strong knowledge of cloud-native identity, workload identity, and API security. + Experience building and operating distributed identity services. + Solid automation skills (Python, PowerShell). + Strong design and cross-team communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP identity platforms. + Kubernetes workload identity or service mesh experience. + Prior experience in regulated industries.
