Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our International, Inventory and Fulfillment team, focused on building and evolving replenishment systems that support global operations across multiple countries. This is a high-impact role that requires deep expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed systems. You will lead modernization efforts, integrate legacy systems with cloud-native architectures, and drive innovation using cloud technologies, AI, and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, distributed software systems to support global inventory, fulfillment, and replenishment operations.Modernize and integrate legacy technologies (e.g., Mainframe, Informix) with emerging platforms to ensure seamless interoperability and business continuity.Lead cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions that scale.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.Drive adoption of engineering best practices including scalability, observability, CI/CD, and security.Stay ahead of industry trends and apply them to improve platform performance, innovation, and resiliency.

What You'll Bring:

10+ years of experience in software engineering with significant contributions to large-scale, distributed system architecture and development.Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), alongside legacy platforms like Mainframe and Informix.Deep understanding of system design, multi-tenant platforms, and high-availability architectures.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working across international and cross-functional teams.Expert-level technical depth across both modern and legacy technology stacks.A strategic mindset with a history of architecting resilient, scalable platforms across geographies.The ability to motivate, influence, and lead teams across borders and time zones.A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in international supply chain, retail, inventory, or fulfillment systems.Familiarity with global scalability challenges including data localization, time zone orchestration, and regulatory compliance.Thought leadership through patents, technical writing, open-source contributions, or conference participation.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
