About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will lead a team of agents and oversee the daily execution, performance, and continuous improvement of our item-related operations. You will be responsible for establishing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reporting on key metrics and trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive systemic enhancements to seller and customer experience.
This is a high-impact role that blends operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and strategic partnership. You'll serve as the connective tissue between the frontline operations and product, engineering, and business teams.
You’ll Make an Impact By:
Leading Operational Execution: Manage and mentor a team of item setup agents responsible for resolving catalog-related issues.Creating and Maintaining SOPs: Build and continuously refine playbooks and SOPs to ensure consistent and high-quality operational processes.Tracking & Reporting Performance: Design dashboards and reporting cadences to monitor team throughput, quality, backlog health, and SLA adherence.Driving Continuous Improvement: Analyze operational and seller pain points to identify process gaps and opportunities. Deliver insights and actionable feedback to product, engineering, and business teams.Supporting Ad-hoc Initiatives: Respond quickly to emerging business needs, including supporting pilots, resolving blockers, and enabling new capabilities.Enabling Scale: Work cross-functionally to implement scalable solutions for new business workflows, process automation, and efficiency improvements.You’ll Thrive in This Role If:

3+ years of experience in operations, ecommerce, catalog/content management, or marketplace platforms.Experience managing a team in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to create SOPs and business process docs.Excellent analytical skills; proficiency in Excel required; SQL, Tableau or Power BI a plus.Prior experience collaborating with product, tech and offshore teams is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. Sunnyvale, California US-08479:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
