(USA) Manager, Creative- Line/Post Producer
Position Summary...This role is to support day-to-day production for social, on line video, stills and live streams – production through post. The ideal candidate will have worked as a line producer and post producer, on projects ranging in budget from $5k-$5M, in varying capacity.



We’re looking for someone with strong and deep LA crew and community connection. Familiarity with advertising is required, and production house staff experience and retail/brand side experience is a plus. Ideally this candidate will have basic working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Airtable, Frame.io, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Slides, HotBudget/Actualizit or equivalent . The role is extremely hands on in terms of supporting the artists & crew and being integral to the day-to-day workflows. You are a doer, passionate about making things who thrives in a fast paced environment, but has the patience required to get to great work. Fluency with AICP / AICE guidelines essential. Understanding of SAG, DGA, IATSE, required. Fashion experience, connections with agents are a plus.

What you'll do...

Bidding and resource planning for new/upcoming projects. 

Project financial tracking and actualization to ensure contractors and vendors are paid on time and projects come in at or under budget. 

Oversee day to day tasks for artists such as DP, Photographers, Directorsphoto retouchers, editors, colorists, motion graphics artists, sound/mix, and CG artists. 

Sourcing treatments. 

Producing live and organic Social, end to end 

Oversee outsourcing with external vendors on a per project basis, ensuring materials are delivered to them on time, materials are delivered back to WCS on time, and costs are on track with planned budgets.      You’ll do these kinds of things… 

Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and adapt to incremental rush requests. 

Maintain a high level of quality, consistency, and accuracy across all images and projects. 

Manage communication across departments including WCS “agency” producers, WCS creatives, account managers, and external partners. 

Basic data IO tasks such as ingest and delivery prep for files entering and leaving the Jandy pipeline. 

Comfortably work with ambiguity and handle other post-production tasks as assigned.

Team members feel informed and prepared to deliver top quality work. 

High creative output driven by strong communication among creative partners and internal artists.  

Able to provide good customer service to our partners. 

Ability to see down the road on a project, anticipating roadblocks early and raising flags to avoid bottle necks and delays. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

3-4 years of experience as a producer or senior producer at a production or post facility. 

Ability to bid out and schedule basic editorial, color, and motion design projects with minimal input.   

Basic knowledge of the Airtable, Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Premier; Frame.io; Hotbudget, Point Zero, actualizit or equivalent. 

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

Strong organizational skills and project management experience.  

Experience working in house at a brand, or directly with brands and agencies. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

3D & Visual Effects production experience. 

Video production and post, including audio, production experience. 

Strong rolodex of freelance resources across the LA area.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00
